The beginning to my video blog!

I began my journey after my daughter was born in 2005. I have come a long long ways since then but this is the beginning of my video blog! I will add as much of my information to here as I can along the way! :)

My Story

beginning weight - 225

current weight -142

total pounds lost - 83

height- 5'11

what your goals were- When I began the weight loss journey my goal was to be a size 5 again! Now, my goal is to be toned and healthy not just thin!

what you achieved - I am eating healthier than ever before and working out on a regular basis! I am now in a size 2-4!!! YAY!

how you did it (following the abs diet, exercise, any info that could help other) - I began loosing weight with NO idea how or where to begin. I started by cutting back on sodas and starbucks. I then began buying as much fat free foods as I could. After a couple years and loosing maybe 20 lbs I decided to make another change. I stopped buying prepackaged foods and cooking from scratch more. I began cooking with EVOO and NOT butter!!! I would workout out here and there but nothing consistent. In the summer of 2008 I got MONO and could not hardly eat so that began a cycle of starving myself to loose weight which ALL came back once I began to eat even one more meal a day! In January of 2009 I began the Abs Diet and with much success!!!! I have been on the diet ever since and it is now a way of life for me! I have gone from a size 14 to a size 5/6 since beginning the Abs Diet! Since stopping the Abs Diet (still following basic concept), I have switched to a mostly gluten free/dairy free diet and I am now down to a size 2-4!!

favorite snack- Peanut butter and vegan chocolate chips! mmmmmmm

how you keep it off- I focus everyday on being healthy! It is now my way of life. I don't beat myself up when I fall of the wagon, I just pick myself up and keep moving! I know I wont loose a pound that day but maybe by the end of the week I will have accomplished something still! One mistake does NOT make you a failure!

and your biggest obstacle -CHIPS!!!! I have a really hard time when I am around people junking out! I try really hard to say NO but sometimes I don't win! : )
